Tucson has many art museums and galleries, superb theater, the Tucson Symphony, musicals and plays, as well as an unlimited amount of outdoor activities, with hiking trails and bicycle paths. Tucson Golf
Did someone say golf? Golf in Tucson? We have that Covered! Opportunities for golf in Southern Arizona are plentiful in the Tucson area and we have golf for every budget. From the great municipal golf courses such as Fred Enke to Randolph and Del Urich to Silverbell, El Rio, The Pines and Arthur Pack. These courses all rank well nationally for municipal golf courses and the LPGA has played many events at Randolph Golf Course in Central Tucson. They vary from desert golf to links golf to more of a park style golf course. Even in the prime season, residents get discounted rates for golf. If you are looking for resort golf, golf memberships in Tucson or Tucson golf course properties, the selection is plentiful! Golf in the Tucson Foothills offers Ventana Canyon Resort & Country Club, La Paloma Resort & Country Club, Skyline Country Club and Arizona National Golf Course at Sabino Springs. All of these course offer magnificent golf with the spectacular views you come to expect from Tucson Foothills golf.
In the Northwest we have Tucson National (long time home of the PGA tour´s Chrysler Classic and 36 holes), Vistoso Golf Club, El Conquistador Country Club (36 holes), Heritage Highlands, The Gallery Golf Courses (the home of the Accenture Match Play Championship) and the ultra exclusive Stone Canyon Country Club. Further north you can find Saddle Brooke which contains three courses in a self contained community great for Tucson retirement living. Closer to Tucson is Sun City which offers great retirement golf. You can find golf course properties at all of these courses ranging from golf villas to golf course estates. If you are looking for golf in southern Tucson you have Star Pass golf course, Rancho Del Lago, and Santa Rita. These also offer golf course homes.
On the east side you´ll find gated Tucson Country Club and Estates, the 49´ers Country Club, and Arizona National (where the U of A golfers practice) at Sabino Springs. If you venture further south you can find all the great golf courses in the retirement community of Green Valley. Green Valley Golf is one the premiere retirement golf communities in the nation. There are many courses so that even in the prime season you can get a great tee time. Twenty minutes south of Green Valley is the Tubac Golf Resort (the location of much of the movie Tin Cup) which offers resort casitas as well as a variety of golf properties, Rio Rico Golf Resort and Kino Springs. Outdoor Activities
One of the great things about the Tucson Lifestyle is that we are surrounded by mountains perfect for hiking and exploring! We have the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum as well as the International Wildlife Museum that show all of the fantastic wildlife in the Tucson Desert, but the best way to see it is to get out and explore. From Jeep tours to organized hiking trips to just taking off on your own and exploring, we have it all. The mountain ranges include the Santa Catalina Mountains featuring Pima Canyon, Finger Rock, Ventana Canyon, Sabino Canyon and Bear Canyon, the Rincon Mountains with Redington Pass, the Santa Rita Mountains with Madera Canyon (an internationally known attraction for birdwatchers), the Tucson Mountains that hold one of the Saguaro National Parks, and the Tortalita Mountains with Honey Bee Canyon. There is something for every interest and hobby. From hiking to bird watching to exploring caves such as Colossal Cave to the world famous Kartchner Caverns State Park, we have everything you can imagine. The desert is truly alive in Southern Arizona! And, the hospitality is beckoning.
Arts
Tucson enjoys being among the top five destinations for art in the United States. With many active artists and multiple galleries, you´ll be tempted to acquire some of our best southwest art and jewelry. As a "college town," the University of Arizona remains the center of our cultural city-numerous speakers, conferences, concerts and art events characterize each year´s cultural calendar. Take advantage of the Tucson Symphony, Arizona Theater, Arizona Ballet, Arizona Opera schedules to partake of some of the best.
Area Real Estate

North Tucson is commonly referred to as The Foothills (the area north of River Road) gives you a wide variety of real estate choices. The northwest area for Tucson offers every possible Tucson lifestyle. Peppered with great golf resorts and gorgeous golf course properties such as Tucson National, El Conquistador, Rancho Vistoso, Sun City, Heritage Highlands, The Gallery and the exclusive Stone Canyon, there is no shortage of options! For those not looking to live on by a golf course there is a diverse selection as well. To the North and the "backside" of the Catalinas, you´ll find majestic vistas of Pusch Ridge. There the town of Oro Valley offers a variety of real estate opportunities. Gated communities such as La Reserve, Honeybee Canyon, Saguaro Ranch, Sky Ranch, Tangerine Crossing and beautiful Canyon Pass are beautiful options. Also, there are Dove Mountain, Red Rock, Gladden Farms, Continental Ranch, Continental Reserve, The Bluffs, Catalina Shadows and Rancho Escondido, some of the many wonderful communities.
